El Gobierno de Jujuy inaugurará este miércoles el Laboratorio de Investigación, Desarrollo e Innovación de la empresa Cannava S.E., ubicado en Finca El Pongo, en el sur provincial, oportunidad en la que se presentará el primer derivado de cannabis de grado médico de industria nacional, se informó este lunes oficialmente.
El acto comenzará a las 9.30 y contará con la presencia de autoridades y funcionarios nacionales y provinciales encabezados por el gobernador Gerardo Morales, junto a representantes de Cannava.
La inauguración oficial del laboratorio piloto de producción de ingredientes farmacéuticos activos derivados del cannabis, “marca un hito en la producción de los primeros derivados de cannabis de grado médico de industria nacional”, dijeron las fuentes oficiales.
El proceso de extracción del material vegetal, de separación de cannabinoides y de producción del ingrediente farmacéutico activo ya fue iniciado en el laboratorio, de acuerdo con lo informado por autoridades de Cannava que lleva adelante al 100% el proyecto productivo en la Finca El Pongo, de administración estatal, ubicada en el sur provincial.
Los primeros lotes de aceite en producción serán próximamente sometidos a los controles de la Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica (Anmat), lo que durará entre tres y seis meses, y luego se podrá comenzar el proceso de envío a hospitales públicos y farmacias de la provincia y del país.
