“Yo maté a mi madre”: el dramático mensaje de Xuxa para concientizar
Xuxa volvió a quedar envuelta en una polémica al difundir un video en el que confesó: “Mi madre se contagió de Covid. Yo maté a mi madre”.
La actriz y cantante brasileña, de 58 años, explicó que se había reunido con sus amigas en la playa, tras lo cual abrazó y besó a su madre en lugar de mantener las medidas de seguridad.
Enseguida Maria da Graça Xuxa Meneghel aclaró que en realidad es una “historia ficticia”, que no le ocurrió a ella pero sí otras personas.
Xuxa afirmó que con ese mensaje buscó concientizar a la gente sobre la gravedad de la pandemia del coronavirus en Brasil.
“Estamos en el peor momento de la pandemia de Covid-19. Los hospitales están llenos. No hay más médicos. Ya no hay forma de abrir camas”, sostuvo la artista.
Y agregó: “El dinero ya no es una solución. Nuestra única salida al colapso actual es convencer, educar y concientizar a la población para que se tome este momento en serio. Combatir la banalización, el negacionismo y el abandono”.
La semana pasada la famosa presentadora de televisión ya protagonizó otra polémica al sugerir que los presos sirvan para probar vacunas o tratamientos contra el coronavirus.
“Tengo un pensamiento que puede parecer muy malo para alguna gente, que puede parecer inhumano. En mi opinión, creo que hay mucha gente que ha hecho muchas cosas malas, que están ahí, pagando sus errores para siempre en la cárcel, y que podrían ayudar en estos casos, para experimentos”, señaló.
Y en se sentido, añadió: “Creo que, al menos, servirían para algo. Para salvar vidas, con la medicina, con todo. Ahora vendrán los defensores de los derechos humanos y dirán que no, que con ellos no se pueden utilizar. Pero si ya está probado que son personas que van a vivir 60 años en prisión, 50 años en prisión, y van a morir allí, yo creo que podrían usar un poco de su vida para ayudar a algunas personas, probando medicinas y vacunas, probando todo para ver si funcionan”.
También por esas declaraciones, más tarde, Xuxa salió a rectificarse y pidió disculpas.
Brasil registró 1.660 muertos por coronavirus en las últimas 24 horas y de esa manera acumula 313.886 victimas fatales. Además, suma 12,57 millones de contagios desde el inicio de la pandemia.
